A tranquil, outdoor terrace overlooking the Klein Piesang river bank and garden leads out from the Barrington’s Grocer & Bakery, offering a delightful venue to enjoy breakfast or a range of freshly baked pastries, cakes and tarts. Don’t leave without picking up a loaf or three of our freshly baked breads and a selection of organic vegetables and herbs from our onsite Bakery & Grocer.

Lunch & Dinner at Barrington’s – Daily – 12:00 – 22:00

Brass, leather, sheepskin and wood finishes combine to create a warm and subtly sophisticated ambience inside, particularly on cold, misty nights when the enormous fireplace takes centre stage. Or step on through the enormous metal framed stacking doors and out into the more relaxed atmosphere of the wraparound terrace overlooking the garden and Barrington’s majestic coral tree. Think New York rooftop bar on the ground and be prepared to linger far longer than you had planned.  

The menu offer unconventional delights. Slow cooked, pulled free range meats and vegetables prepared in Barrington’s custom-made smoker paired with fresh indigenous regional ingredients, including Barrington’s very own daily harvest, offer a uniquely South African take on smokehouse cuisine.  Finishing touches include freshly baked breads from the onsite bakery and a selection of homemade pickles, preserves and chutneys. Beautiful salads, using Barrington’s own kitchen garden produce and innovative desserts will have you singing the chef’s praises!
