The Barrington’s Brewery features a state-of-the-art, five hundred liter brewhouse and ten thousand liters of fermentation tanks providing craft beer enthusiasts and curious first-timers alike with a diverse spectrum of high quality beer throughout Plettenberg Bay and the Garden Route.

Along with many seasonal and spontaneous batches, Barrington’s produce five flagship Barrington’s beers; American Lager, German Hefeweizen, American Pale Ale, Irish Stout and English Ale.

Barrington’s Craft Beers

Toplis Lager: ABV: 4.2% IBU: 18

Crisp, light and refreshing, our hand-crafted American Lager is made with 100% malted barley for an effortlessly drinkable body with a dry, hoppy finish. Stand out, go Toplis.

Dulcey’s Weiss: ABV: 5% IBU: 11

Our traditional, reinheitsgebot compliant Hefeweizen derives its unique flavors and frothy effervescence from German white (weiss) yeast (hefe), while a harmonious balance of malted barley and wheat (weizen) achieve the telltale haze.

Newdigate English Ale: ABV: 4.5% IBU: 35

Let inviting notes of caramel and biscuit lead you into our English Ale,  where traditional English malt and hops result in a wonderfully drinkable, beautifully copper-colored ale that leaves you hanging onto a spicy, bitter finish.

Punch’s Pale Ale: ABV: 4.2% IBU: 18

From the fresh, floral aroma to its smooth and bitter finish, Punch’s Pale Ale will delight your senses with a colorful spectrum of carefully crafted hop characteristics presented on a light, complimentary malt bill.

Irish Stout: ABV: 4.5% IBU: 36

Come and enjoy a rare treat in South Africa from cascading pour to fleeting last sip; this fresh, authentically brewed (and served) Barrington’s Irish stout is available on our dedicated nitrogen tap, year-round. Don’t let this brew fool you, in spite of its dark color, our stout is one of our lightest beer offerings, featuring exquisite notes of coffee and roast spread across a highly drinkable and creamy body.

Oktoberfest: ABV 5.7% IBU: 26 (Seasonal)

Barrington’s Oktoberfest Lager may drink like a light beer, but it’s designed for a party. This golden brew features notes of honey and forward malt character beneath a frothy white head, with a hop presence only designed to balance.
